Emma is a clinical intern completing her MA in clinical mental health counseling, with a certification in marriage and family counseling, at Richmont Graduate University, working under the clinical supervision of Lauren Dack, LMFT, LPC. She creates a calm and accepting environment so that clients feel safe addressing their concerns. She uses therapy approaches that increase coping skills and emotional awareness, strengthen emotional bonds in important relationships, and create direction for clients’ continued growth after therapy finishes. Specifically, Emma’s trauma-informed integrative approach draws from Family Systems Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to meet the unique needs of each of her clients. Her focus areas include anxiety and depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship issues, and women’s issues.
