Before beginning her internship this summer, Vanessa Jospeh’s first clients were her stuffed animals and younger siblings. Now she is a clinical intern completing her MA in clinical mental health counseling, with a specialization in trauma, at Richmont Graduate University, working under the clinical supervision of Simone Cox, LPC. She is also interning at Willbrooke at Tanner.
She has gained experience working with patients with mood disorders (i.e., depression and anxieties), personality disorders, grief, family and relationship issues, and spirituality concerns. Her work towards earning an additional certification in trauma allows her to understand the human experience from a trauma-informed lens. Her hope is to meet each and every client right where they are and walk with them through their therapeutic journey.
