We have this hope as an anchor for the soul . . . Hebrews 6:19
Richmont Graduate University trains professional counselors and marriage & family therapists in a faith-based context, and the Hope Counseling Center is an extension of the institution. Richmont master’s level graduates and student interns serve clients in a setting where we seek to understand our clients’ strengths and barriers and provide counseling services tailored to the unique needs of each individual or family.
We believe that every person should have access to quality mental health care; therefore, this program was founded in order to serve those who are uninsured, underinsured, or lack financial resources.
We serve adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families, and our goal with any client is to help overcome negative life patterns, enhance quality of life and relationships, and restore hope in broken lives. Specific treatment modalities included cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal/psychodynamic, and family systems-oriented counseling. We also offer specialized, evidence-based treatment for clients with trauma and abuse history.
Our standard fee for counseling is adjusted based on annual income.
